Principal's Message

Dear Students and Families of Wallace Middle School, 

Welcome to Wallace Middle School! We believe our school community is a place where all members- students, staff, parents/guardians, and administrators- work together as a team to educate our children and ensure that each child reaches their full potential. 

Wallace is a place where children are prepared to be respectful and responsible individuals and ready for high school. Our amazing teachers work hard to create an exceptional learning environment for our students, and our school climate instills a life-long love of learning. We aim to hold high expectations for teaching and learning, provide a safe, positive and supportive learning environment that meets the needs of our students, promote equity in practice and resources, embody the Waterbury Public Schools Portrait of a Graduate, and engage our families and the community as educational partners.

Throughout the year, exciting things are happening in our classrooms and on our campus! We encourage you to get involved by joining our parent groups, volunteering at school activities, and taking an active role in your child's education. You are the best gift you can give your child, and you are your child's most important teacher. It is my desire to keep the focus on increasing student achievement and doing whatever it takes to help all our students be successful and enjoy coming to school each day.
